MediCentre Sussex was founded on the vision of providing exceptional medical services for acute illnesses and injuries, with the caring approach of a traditional village doctor.

We are a private urgent care centre; if you need immediate medical attention we can attend to your needs.

With an extensively qualified medical team you can be confident that you’ll only receive the highest standard of care.

If you have a medical emergency, you should dial 999 or go straight to A&E without delay. Medical emergencies include chest pain, severe or sudden breathing difficulties, a suspected stroke or seizure, or bleeding heavily.

After really struggling to get any help for how awful I was feeling from my GP, I found Medicentre online and booked an appointment for the same day. I’ve seen and spoke to Emily a few times now as she continues to help me. I couldn’t be any more thankful for the help I’ve received, I’ve felt so listened to and looked after. Last week, I suffered rapidly increasing pain in my lower back (not for the first time) but on this occasion, it was accompanied by increasing muscle weakness. The NHS were unable to help so I sought that help from our local MediCentre.
I have to say that the home visit by Dr Marr was both deeply reassuring and of immense practical help. She recognised my immediate and long term needs and set about making arrangements to deal with both.
Just this single visit assured me that Dr Marr was expert in her field -- and delightful too.
This is how the NHS used to serve patients in the early days when I was proud to work for this world-leading institution. Sadly, the NHS is now broken. No system can be expected to function well when demand is unlimited but not the resources needed to meet that demand. How very sad! But how lucky that there was a highly professional alternative available to me.
