Experienced clinicians providing quality care
Dr Kiran Marr MB BS, FRCEM
Medical Director
Qualifying from the University of London in 2001, Emergency Department Consultant, Dr Marr brings with her over 20 years of NHS experience, in the hospital environment. She has a wealth of experience in assessing and treating patients, presenting with both injuries and illnesses, which can be managed in hospital and in the community.
She completed her post-graduate training in Emergency Medicine at a busy central London Major Trauma Centre and became a fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in 2013.
Subsequently appointed as an A&E consultant in Hampshire, Dr Marr then moved to West Sussex to start a family and continue with her career.
Dr Judith Virjee MB BS, MRCP
Acute Medicine Consultant
Dr Virjee qualified in medicine from the University of London in 2005. Since then she has focused her attention on acute medicine, becoming a Specialist in Acute Internal Medicine and General (internal) Medicine in 2015.
Dr Virjee’s expertise has lead to her being appointed as a supervisor for undergraduate and newly qualified doctors. She also has a specialist interest in palliative care.
Dr Zain Haider LMSSA, LRCS, LRCP MRCGP (2024)
A&E Consultant & GP
With almost three decades of clinical experience, Dr Haider is one of the senior doctors at MediCentre Sussex. His extensive background includes neurosurgery, trauma and medical research. In 2013 he achieved the status of Consultant in Emergency Medicine for the NHS.
Dr Haider has a special interest in sports medicine, offering expert advice and treatment to elite athletes. Alongside his work at MediCentre Sussex, he is also the Club Doctor at AFC Wimbledon and has extensive experience across a range of professional sports, including England Rugby and international motor racing.
We are delighted to offer our patients the benefit of his myriad experience, complemented by his status as an accredited GP and member of the Royal College of General Practice.
Sarah Grigg
Receptionist
Sarah manages our reception and administration – combining a friendly welcome with excellent organisational skills.
Originally from the Peak District, Sarah has extensive experience working in healthcare, having spent fifteen years at a private practice in Windsor.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking, cycling and candle making.
